Security
At Sharpe Labs, security is our top priority. When it comes to building vaults for our users, we follow the highest standards to ensure that your funds are held in a secure and reliable smart contract. We use a combination of dynamic and static tests, peer review audits, and manual testing to ensure that your funds are safu.
We've built a rigorous testing process that includes performing various actions on the vault, such as depositing and withdrawing funds, harvesting, and pausing and unpausing the strategy. This allows us to ensure that the vault works as intended and that user funds are always safe.
We are committed to providing the best possible investment solutions to our users, and our thorough testing process is a key part of this commitment.
Risks
While the Sharpe Magnum has undergone multiple stress tests and has been tested for several edge cases to ensure its safety, there are still potential risks associated with using it. It is important to be aware of these risks and to take steps to minimize them. Here are some key risks to consider:
- 1.Smart contract vulnerabilities: Smart contracts are self-executing computer programs that are at the core of the Sharpe Protocol. These contracts can have vulnerabilities that may be exploited by attackers to steal funds or disrupt the operation of the vault. Such vulnerabilities can arise from coding errors or protocol design flaws. To mitigate the risk of smart contract vulnerabilities, Sharpe Labs has engaged in thorough testing and self-audits of the vault's codebase. However, it is important to exercise caution when using our protocol, or any protocol for that matter.
- 2.Liquidity risk: The value of assets held in the vault may be affected by changes in the underlying market conditions or liquidity of the pools it is interacting with. If market conditions become unfavorable, there is a risk of losing some or all of the assets held in the vault.
It is important to note that Sharpe Labs' multi-sig and team, by design, can never touch users' funds. Instead, they can only control the leverage-deleverage function and functions related to ensuring the proper functioning of the vaults.
